SMFFA members and other fire departments participated in SMFFA's 2nd annual Chili Cookoff at Central Park in San Mateo on August 28th 2010. This event raised over $13,000.00 for the MDA. See our link under Announcements for the Chili Cookoff photos. Thanks to all who supported this great cause.
A General Union meeting will be held on Friday, September 17th 2010 at 1700 South El Camino Real.
Andy Martinez ran unopposed and he will continue to be our DVP for the next 2 years. Thank you Andy for all your time and commitment to our Assoication!
Congrats to new Captains Cook and Agresti and welcome new firefighters Tory Dooley and Aaron Kucharski. They received their badges on June 30th at Station 21.
Our Fire Chief Dan Belville on July 1st also became Foster City's Fire Chief--a real two for one position.
