Firefighter/Engineer Randy Himes will retire from SMFD after 27 years. There will be a luncheon to be held in his honor at Fire Station 27 (1801 De Anza) on Dec 15th 11am-2pm. Good luck Mr. Reasonable!!

SMFFA members voted to approve a 3-year MOU with the City. Thanks to all members of the Negoitation committee who worked hard on this contract. City Council approved it on Oct 20th 2008!
Welcome our two new firefighters Joseph "Danny" Sandoval and Joshua McGurk. They will start in the SMCounty Fire Academy on Sept 1st 2008. Welcome aboard!

Alisa Ann Ruch Calif Burn Relay received $3500 from SMFFA on August 21st Station 21 at 1pm. 1921 Seagrave made its first drive from 21 to 34 in this relay.
